Two chairs and a table for the patio
Build a coordinated three-piece outdoor lounge set with two matching chairs and a low slatted coffee table. The chairs have a 25-degree backrest and broad arms, with pocket screws used for hidden joints.
Dimensions
In the metric plan, each chair measures 765 mm wide × 865 mm deep × 960 mm tall. The table measures 1120 mm long × 587 mm wide × 380 mm tall. Allow extra space between the chairs and table for getting in and out.
Materials and tools
The metric plan uses 89 × 89 mm, 38 × 140 mm, 38 × 89 mm and 38 × 38 mm exterior timber. You will need a saw, drill-driver, pocket-hole jig, clamps and a way to make one rip cut.
Build time and experience
An intermediate project, with an estimated 7–9 hours for cutting and assembly of the whole set. Allow additional time for sanding, finishing and drying. The chair uses a repeated 25-degree bevel and one rip cut; the table uses square-cut parts.
What the plans cover
The supplied 22-page metric guide includes dimensions, cut lists, materials and hardware information, and illustrated assembly steps for the chairs and table. A SketchUp 3D model is included with the plans. Check the Etsy listing for the current price and full download contents.
